Name: Thor Odinson, God of Thunder Door: Left Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe Canon Point: End of Avengers: Age of Ultron Age: ~ 1500 Earth years Appearance: here History: Thor on the MCU Wiki CR AU (Optional): N/A Personality: Positive Trait: Gregarious: Even at his worst, Thor was able to be affable and made friends easily. Because of his skills and charm, he commanded the loyalty of his friends and was able to win over even Erik Selvig and Phil Coulson during his time on Midgard. He is like a giant puppy that is hard to stay angry at, even if he does something stupid, because when he puts in the effort, he’s just so damn *friendly*. It doesn’t take much for him to get Heimdall to agree to help him defy Odin during the issue with Malekith and the Dark Elves. He has friendly competitions with Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, mostly, but charms even Natasha and Clint fairly easily with his easy smile. Negative Trait: Poud - Until Thor was tossed out by Odin, Thor was arrogant as the presumptive heir to the throne. He thought the concerns of Earthlings beneath him and of no consequence. He barely paid mind to the destruction he courted with his bloodlust and warmongering. Even after being humbled and dying to prove he is more than just an “arrogant whelp”, he constantly battles pride, such as the scene in the Avengers movie where he’s laughing at the others for being “small and petty” or the scene where he is bragging about Mjølnir in Age of Ultron with the other Avengers and is a little disconcerted when Steve makes it move on the table. Negative Trait: Stubborn; When he thinks he is right, nothing can stop Thor until he is actually shown how wrong he is. He fought his way through many SHIELD officers to get to Mjølnir on pure self-righteousness. Even after the events in New Mexico, he gets into a fight with the other Avengers in his quest to secure Loki and take him back to Asgard because he deems them unimportant to the problems between Asgardians. He can and does listen to others, but if he deems his way the correct way, he will do what he wants, even to the detriment of others sometimes. Negative Trait: Short-tempered: Just like his father, Thor has a big temper that is sharp and easy to provoke, especially if Loki is involved. After the vaults were broken into by Frost Giants, Thor was the first to want to go right to Jotunheim and kill all the Frost Giants for revenge! Even after being humbled, Thor was all too happy to beat the crap out of Tony Stark in his Iron Man rig because the other was in his way to getting Loki back into Asgardian custody and also fought with Captain America before they could calm him down and win him over as an ally. Powers and Abilities: - Storm/Lightning/Thunder Manipulation: Thor is the God of Thunder, which gives him the ability to summon lightning and control storms with the aid of Mjolnir. - Super Strength, Healing and Physicality: Being an Asgardian, Thor has superhuman strength, healing, stamina, speed, incredible durability that allows him to go up against many fierce opponents by himself and endure extreme environments, such as the cold of Jotunheim and the heat of Muspelheim. And while he is not immortal, he has a very long life. Currently he is over 1500 years old and most Asgardians live to be about 5000. - Flight: By spinning Mjolnir, he is able to focus his energies enough that he can fly - Ability to Wield Mjolnir/Stormbreaker: Through an enchantment on the legendary weapon, Thor can pick it up and use it when others are not (except for Steve Rogers, we see you, Cap). He uses the hammer to fly and focus his powers in battle. He is also able to summon the weapon nonverbally, by raising his hand, even from long distances. - Multiple Weapons Mastery: Aside from the use of Mjolnir, Thor has the ability to use many combat weapons, such as axes and spears, with a great deal of skill and lethality - Quick Mind: Thor has demonstrated that he has the ability to quickly plot out tactics for battles and escape plans numerous times.
